We recently invited customers to take a quick online quiz about our products’ ingredients, our Healthy Starts for Families program, and more. First of all, it’s always fun to show off your smarts. Second of all, we always try to make sure everyone has the most current info.Thousands of you responded (thank you!), and the results are pretty impressive. Take a look!
Q1: Juice Plus+ Capsules & Chewables
A1: All Juice Plus+ capsules and chewables are vegan. Even our Omega Blend is plant based — it combines omega 3, 5, 6, 7, and 9 fatty acids, all derived from fruits, algae, and seed oils.
Did you know: Our farm-to-capsule process helps to keep us environmentally friendly, and our cold-pressing technique is gentle with our ingredients. Check out this fun JP+TV video for more info about Omega Blend from our Juice Plus+ family.
Q2: Juice Plus+ Fruit Blend Capsules & Chewables
A2: The majority of you spotted cabbage as the gatecrasher at this party. We also hear you wondering, “But what’s the lemon peel for?” In 2018, we added lemon peel to our Fruit and Vegetable Blends. It’s a natural, whole-food folate source.
Did you know: Our Fruit, Vegetable, and Berry Blend chewables are also available in child-size servings. Since we don’t use high fructose corn syrup or artificial flavors or colors, these chewables are a great way to help bridge some nutritional gaps in your child’s diet.
Q3: Complete by Juice Plus+
A3: Our protein- and fiber-rich Complete shakes and nutrition bars are a satisfying part of an on-the-go breakfast — and they make a great snack or pre-/post-exercise fuel. Complete shakes can be used as other meal replacements if you add extra nutrients from fruits or veggies.
Did you know: Juice Plus+ by Complete makes a great snack for kids. For more on that, take a look at our Community post about nutrition for student athletes. The Community also offers tons of recipe ideas, info on Complete, and much more!
Q4: Healthy Starts for Families
A4: “All of the above” is the answer we all want to see when it comes to helping kids develop healthy habits. The Family Health Study includes surveys that help us measure the program’s impact and find ways to improve it.
Did you know: So far, more than 150,000 families have participated in the program. Survey results show that participating children miss fewer days of school, eat more fruits and veggies (and less fast food), and visit the doctor less often. Curious to learn more?
